I love the D.I.! I never thought I would say that... but look what it has brought to me in the past 48 hours...ah....gems!

My favorite before and after yet! This is a chair I picked up for $8.00 and my mom found the seat cover for $5.00! The chair was pretty sick in the beginning but now I love it!

The old fabric from the chair. The green was on top and then there was a navy blue fabric below that.


After sanding the chair down the painting began! A nice "lemon grass" green.

A wooden mirror I picked for $5.00 and gave a slight face lift. Should work nice in my apartment this fall!

Desk

Here are the photos of the desk I am in the process of re-doing. It was an excellent D.I. find by my mom and will be taken to school with me this fall! It is all stained now, I just have to sand a few more drawers down and put the handles back on. Finished photos to come later!

I thought my thumbs were going to fall off by the end of this....
